When Goa has witnessed a rape case involving St. Cruz MLA which has already created a much controversy, here is yet another rape case which has come to the light recently. In one of the incidents accused named, Joao Leonard Fernandes from Cotti-Fatorpa has been arrested by Cuncolim Police for allegedly raping a minor girl at Fatorpa. Here is the incident in detail.

Police have also said that the accused used to peep inside the bathroom while the victim and her younger sister used to take a bath. It has also revealed that he used to record it on a digital camera.
The accused has also recorded the victim taking a bath. He once had kept the camera phone hiding in the bathroom and has also saved those recordings on his laptop. The miserable thing was that he used to tie her to the window grills with a dog chain and sexually assault her. He had also threatened to kill her and assaulted her.
As reported by the Herald publication, he used to threaten her that he will share the recordings of her taking a bath if she ever opposed his acts or disclosed the same to anyone.
As informed by the police the accused had detained the victim and her sister by locking them inside the house, which compelled the sisters to leave the house.
Police said that the victim has also accused Fernandes of sexually assaulting her sister. Police is further investigating
