The tempo that was traveling towards the direction of Margao hit the ongoing Trailor proceeding in the same direction.
The police sources have revealed that they received the call on PCR stating that there is a major accident took place on the Verna highway between a Trailor and Tempo they immediately rushed to the spot. When they reached the accident spot they saw that both the vehicles were in the same direction while the tempo had banged the Trailor from behind.

One of the police personals told the media that “Both vehicles were traveling in the same direction towards Margao while the Rikshaw dashed the Trailor from behind. The passenger who was sitting pillion next to the driver got seriously injured. We shifted him to the Hospicio hospital where he was declared brought dead.”

The name of the deceased revealed by the sources as Anand Singh Chauhan, a municipal worker attached to Margao Municipal Council. Further investigation is going on in this case.
