It looks like the world of online publication will be taking big swing with the introduction of Facebook Instant Articles. The Facebook has recently introduced a new application for the publishers “Facebook Instant Articles” According the Facebook Product manager Michael Reckhow this is a new product for the publishers to create fast and interactive articles on Facebook. These new products have been introduced by the facebook team to make the reader experience faster on the mobile device. As the mobile users growing at very rapid speed making the user experience faster and richer is the priority, Facebook Instant Articles makes the reading experience as much as 10 times faster than standard mobile phone web article.

It’s not only speed but the overall creation of the article is managed by the interactive suit in facebook which brings their stories to life with the options of Zoom in HD photos by tilting the phone, auto play of videos as you navigate through the stories, exploring of the interactive maps, listening to audio captions and even like and comment on individual parts. Publisher will also have the options of selling the ads in their articles and monitoring the data traffic.   “Fundamentally, this is a tool that enables publishers to provide a better experience for their readers on Facebook” said Facebook Chief Product Officer Chris Cox. “Instant Articles lets them deliver fast, interactive articles while maintaining control of their content and business models.”
