Road traffic accidents are becoming the leading cause of deaths in Goa. On the one hand, vehicle population has grown exponentially in Goa and rash driving too has gone unpunished. Lack of discipline is the first and foremost reason for the road accidents. In yet another accident case, sadly a 43-year-old, traveling on his Harley Davidson died on the spot on Sunday after a car hit him on a sharp turn at Partagal-Canacona, Goa. He died after the high-end bike he was riding caught fire soon after it was hit by another vehicle. Read the complete report here.

When he reached Partgal in Canacona, a Verna car headed by Indrajeet Singh tanwar, a resident of Haryana lost control on a sharp turn and hit Sheth’s bike.

The value of life has been neglected by those driving or riding vehicles. Issuing of driving licenses should be much stricter and tough conditions need to be created before a driver / rider can get a license. Punishment for rash and negligent driving should be so stringent that the driver should think twice while driving / riding. The life of a human being and especially other human beings need to be respected.
