The congress with the slogan, ‘BJP hatao Goa Bachao’, at its Mashaal Yatra has got a back answer by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday as, people of the state will have a ‘Congress Mukt Goa’ in the 2017 assembly elections. It was at the press conference on Thursday sanquelim MLA Pramod Sawant spoke on the congress rally. He said that only the BJP has done development work from Pernem to Canacona. He also spoke on many issues at the press conference answering back to congress. Here is the report.

As he said, “you can also see garbage heaps created by the Congress in the state whereas BJP has constructed a state-of-the-art garbage treatment plant at with no financial burden on the state”.
Sawant said, “I challenge Congress leaders to a public debate to discuss the development in the state.”
He added that the congress desk in-charge Digvijaya Singh organized the Mashaal Yatra in Goa to make the Congress’ presence felt in the state unknowing that he would be shunted out as Goa desk in-charge.
Sawant also stated, “As per my information, Singh will be replaced as Goa desk in-charge by former Goa desk in-charge B K Hariprasad.”
