The politics have no respect for any sort of emotions, and no mercy for the feelings of the person. The live example of the this is the pressure from the center on Mr. Manohar Parrikar to keep the stronghold on the state of Goa. According to the senior RSS member and former chief Mr. Subhash Velingkar, BJP high command is putting unnecessary pressure on ailing CM for continuing at the office of Chief Minister despite his poor health condition. This may be one of the most severe examples of what level politics can go.
“Unfortunately, the BJP high command is putting unnecessary pressure on him (Parrikar), when he clearly needs more rest to be completely fit. The Centre, by hook or crook, wants Goa to remain a BJP stronghold and hence forcing him to resume office by any chance. This is worsening his current health condition,” Velingkar told reporters in Panjim.
Velingkar did not stop here he went further claiming that the BJP is now beginning importing the candidates from the other parties to remain in power.
According to the NDTV, Former Goa Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Subhash Velingkar on Wednesday said that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s sickness is taking a turn for the worse as unwarranted pressure is being put on him by the Centre to resume office.
According to Mr. Velingkar, the center needs to make alternative armaments, and relieve Mr. Parrikar from his post to allow him to take some rest. “The Centre should have got a substitute chief minister as long as Parrikar is not getting well. I don’t think this Goa government will survive if things go on like this. It will be dissolved soon,” he added.
Meanwhile, the pressure is coming from all the sides to make an alternate arrangement of CM till Mr. Parrikar gets well, but there is no more so far have been made by the BJP high command. According to the sources, one of the BJP’s oldest ally in Goa, the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party, started pressurizing for a “temporary replacement” for Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar till he recovers, but center seems to have to maintain unwanted pressure on him to continue.

Velingkar did not stop here he went further claiming that the BJP is now beginning importing the candidates from the other parties to remain in power. “The elected representatives don’t have anything to do with the party’s ideology. They have imported leaders from other parties. The loyal cadre is disturbed. In the next election, the BJP will be completely wiped out from the state,” he claimed. He was pointing out at the recent inductions of the two Congress candidates into BJP.
The condition of Mr. Parrikar getting deteriorated with the time, but he is still working from the hospital bed and trying to fulfill all the duties as possible. The opposition is keeping maintaining the pressure so the allied partners. The forthcoming by-poll will make the picture clearer as how far the BJP will be able to pull their alliance.
