As the elections are approaching the blame game is reaching to its peak, congress have already started to fire controversial remarks against the ruling government, in fact they have already started statements about taking the people of Goa into the confidence and employ the better economic policies in the state if voted back to power in 2017 elections. GPCC president Luizinho Faleiro said that “Congress will implement economic policies in consultation with the people, in case the party is voted back to power during the assembly elections slated in 2017”.
GPCC president has alleged that the BJP-led government in Goa has failed in all the fronts including tourism, agriculture and the revival of the legal mining despite the industrial shutdown. Mr. Faleiro was addressing the workers meeting organized by Cortalim Block Congress Committee Birla Zuarinagar on Sunday. The meeting was attended by Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president Dr G Parameshwar, leader of the opposition Pratapsing Rane, former Chief Minister Digambar Kamat, former Goa Pradesh Youth Congress Committee president Sankalp Amonkar, Sancoale Zilla Panchayat member Mariano Rodrigues, district executive member South Goa Congress Devendra Kenkre and others.
Propagating the progress of the congress government at the centre then, Faleiro said that Congress government at the Centre had launched 18 flagship schemes including right to food, right to employment besides others, however, the BJP government has failed to implement majority of the schemes for the benefit of the people. He felt sorry that BJP-led government in state has forced the projects like Marinas, Amphibious Seaplanes on the people despite of their environmental intimidation.
According to Mr. Faleiro the Congress has a policy and the programmes in the place to lay down the foundation of leadership for the young and responsible citizens in the due course of time. The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president Dr Parameshwar on the dice spoke about the “INHUMAN ACT” of the ruling government in the state for demolishing the hutments belonging to Kannadigas at Baina Beach.
Mr. Rane has raised the issue of unemployment in Goa. He said that the Congress is the only party which can change the existing scenario. He expressed complete confidence about his party making comeback in the 2017 elections that too with clear majority. He is also positive about the power of youth and women who will be supporting in the fulfilling of their dreams.
