The most efficient Mumbai police have ruled out the possibility of any foul play, in this case, saying that she took these drastic steps due to hereditary depression.

According to the sources, a 22-year-old Aspiring fashion designer was staying in the rented apartment in Malwani where she ended her life. Cops ruled out the possible foul play based on the circumstantial evidence which includes the suicide note they found in the apartment.

According to the information was given by the Malwani police, the deceased fashion designer Heena hailed from Kolkatta and she was pursuing the course in fashion designer at Pearl Academy in Andheri due to which she had shifted to Mumbai from Kolkata. The police officer also revealed that Heena was suffering from depression which is hereditary. Several of her family members, including her father, are undergoing treatment for depression.

According to the police officer, Heena had shifted into a rented apartment in Vishwashanti cooperative housing society at Malwani gate no 8 just 20 days ago. Since a few of their relatives reside in Malwani, the Janis thought it would be better if their daughter lived nearby. Before shifting to Malwani, Heena resided at a women’s hostel and later moved into a rented apartment with four of her friends in Andheri.

The incident was reported to the police by the landlord who apparently sensed that something wrong happened when he went to tell her to fill the water. When she did not respond to his several knocks on the doors he informed her relatives.  Later her cousins who reached the apartment broke the open the window to enter the apartment.

To their horror, they found Heena’s body hanging from the ceiling fan after they broke open the living room window. They immediately informed the police. Upon searching her room, cops found a suicide note that read: ‘Sorry Mumma. Abba I love you. Pls forgive me. No one is responsible for my death’.

Cops ruled out foul play following initial inquiry and sent the body to Shatabdi hospital for a post-mortem exam. An accidental death report has been filed in this case.
