According to the reports published by the TOI in their local edition, the Crime Branch of Goa police on Sunday arrested three people involved in the flesh trade from Calangute. According to the sources, the accused also include one lady who is involved in this flesh trade and also leading this business.
According to the crime branch sleuths, the trio was engaged into the running the online Escorts business and their website displayed many obscene images with the costs. The crime branch police rescued two girls from Calangute in the raid and arrested the culprits involved in this business. The police said that the rescued girls were from Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
The sources have revealed that upon receiving the tip from the reliable sources Crime branch police swung into the action and laid the trap with the help of decoy. The sources said that website was promising female escort services in Goa at a price range between Rs 10,000 to Rs 30,000. It was also revealed that obscene pictures of women were being uploaded on the website.
After making sure of the site’s authenticity and contents the police laid a trap. The crime branch sleuths contacted the accused on the numbers given on the website and with the help of decoy customer they managed to struck the deal. Based on the arrangements the accused came with two girls for the delivery. As soon as they approached the customer for delivery of the girls’ police entered the scene and rescued the girls and arrested the accused.
But till now they had only two one accused in their custody and two more were still at large. The decoy customer then contacted the other pimps of the group thereafter, asking for more girls. Soon The other accused, Jatinder Singh and Manprit Kaur, both from Delhi, were arrested too when they came to strike a deal, the police said, before adding that they were still in the process of tracing the main pimp who runs the business in the state.
