As Goans are already been aware of Mr. Kejriwal’s arrival in Goa on 22nd May at campal ground, to address his first ever public meeting after formation of Aam Aadmi Party. After ‘Goa Jodo’ campaign on Sunday AAP will take this drive to next level. In the coming assembly elections in Goa next year, AAP is planning to organize a volunteers’ meet next week, which will be held the day after party convener Arvind Kejriwal’s scheduled rally in the coastal state. Here’s is the report.

[su_expand more_text=”READ MORE” less_text=” ” height=”0″ hide_less=”yes” link_style=”button” link_align=”center”] Rupesh Shinkre, AAP’s media coordinator for Goa has told PTI on Tuesday, “We are planning a volunteers’ meet on Monday a day after Kejriwal’s public rally. The meet is still being finalized.”

Shinkre said, “‘Goa Jodo’ campaign will go to next level after Kejriwal’s public meeting. Wait for the announcement…we have a lot of things lined up to reach to the people.” It looks like Kejriwal’s entry will definitely show some changes in Goa. AAP has not set its goal on coastal state after romping home in Delhi Assembly elections last year.

Kejriwal has stated earlier in an online video that ‘it’s time to change Goa’. Goans have to wait and watch what surprises this new party gets along with Kejriwal.

Goa is presently ruled by the BJP-led government with Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party as its alliance partner while the opposition bloc comprises 14 MLAs, including three Independents, nine legislators from Congress and from which two are from Goa Vikas Party. AAP will be a new face for Goa now and for Goan politics.
