As the elections approaching all the political parties are gearing up to fight out with the best their capabilities in the state of Goa. Presently Goa has four major political parties that claim the winning of the forthcoming elections. But it looks like that AAP and BJP will have the major face-off in the 2017 polls. [su_expand more_text=”READ MORE” less_text=” ” height=”0″ hide_less=”yes” link_style=”button” link_align=”center”]The AAP supremo who is in Goa on his two days visit was addressing the huge crowd gathered on the ground in Usgaon Tisk in Ponda Taluka. In his address, he made the statement that AAP will win 35 out of 40 seats in Goa at the 2017 polls that are scheduled to be held in the month of January next year.
He also assured the mining truck owners and drivers that if AAP elected to the power in Goa, the party will make sure that all the truck drivers those who have got affected by the 2012 mining closure will get the relief within 10 days time. “Truck drivers need to be provided adequate relief within the 15 days of coming to power,” he said while addressing a large gathering in the mining area of Tisk, Usgao on Saturday evening, on his third visit to the state within four months.
Mr. Kerjriwal was talking to mine truck owners, “We want Goa to be the best model for mining not just in the country but in the world,” he said, emphasizing on “sustainable mining, environment-friendly mining, honest mining and green mining.”
Before making the statement Kejriwal took a look into the grievances of all Goa Machinery Owners Association who expressed their discontent over the present mining scenario in the state of Goa. Kejriwal also assured them of a reviving the mining cap of 20 million tons per year. Mr. Kejriwal asked those studying the issue in the state to scientifically arrive at a figure with which they could confidently approach the Supreme Court to revise the limit.
The Delhi CM also promised the truck owners that AAP will help them to recover the money lost due to illegal mining in the state and the same will be given to the mining dependents welfare and will be used towards the development of sustainable mining in the state of Goa. While making all the promises to the people of Usgaon Mr. Kejriwal made the statement that those who were involved in the illegal mining will not be spared under any circumstances.
Meanwhile, the BJP and Congress were also busy in rallies at different places in the state. According to the surveys conducted by the various agencies, the AAP is projected as the new political party which will get the success in their first attempt. The reason behind losing of BJP and Congress is said to be the high level of corruption and failure of providing the effective governance in the state. AAP has come as the savior to the rescue of those who are facing the heat of the completely collapsed administration in the state. What is your opinion on this?
