SRK starter flick ‘Fan’ is scheduled to be released on the 15th April and it looks like the things are running into the trouble with the scriptwriter claiming that the story belongs to him, he wrote it for another film and ‘Fan’ is the copy of that.
This has come as a setback to the ‘Fan’ team who is preparing for its release this month. According to the scriptwriter Mohan Kumar Nagar, the script of ‘Fan’ has a striking resemblance to the story written and registered by him in the year 2009.
According to the news published on the Scoopwhoop portal, Mohan Kumar Nagar has approached the Dindoshi court in Mumbai against the Yash Raj Banner for stealing his story. In the complaint, he has mentioned that the story of ‘Fan’ is similar to the script was written by him for the movie called ‘Dummy’. He apparently made an allegation after watching the trailer of the movie ‘Fan’.
In a Facebook post (presently removed from the FB) Nagar has mentioned that the story credits in the poster do not have the writer’s name mentioned. He demanded the name of story writer from Yash Raj Films and he also asked them to clarify if the ‘Fan’ film was written and registered by them before his script.
The sources claimed that ‘As of now Nagar is asking for Fan’s trailer to be blocked and he also planning to seek a stay on the film’s release’.
