It is rightly said that when God thinks of giving you something then surely its outcome keeps everyone stunned. A similar thing happened with Kamala (name changed) a lady who used to work as a maid in the neighbourhood houses to support her family. Let’s see how her life changed magically when a leading Fashion designer’s vision caught her when she was on the way for her daily work.
Kamala a mother of two children who works as a domestic servant in her locality in Delhi to support her family. That was just another day when Kamala had gone for her work when Mandeep Nagi living in her neighbourhood saw her and thought she has got what she was waiting for.
Mandeep Nagi a fashion designer, is the director of Shades of India, one of India’s leading brands in soft furnishings and fashion. Coincidently Mandeep happens to live in a house next to the one where Kamala works. It happened just when she was looking out for a model. She was in search of a special face to showcase her new collection, and that’s when she saw Kamala and found her the perfect image that she was looking for. She offered her to become a model for her new collections.

Designer Mandeep Nagi does not really like shooting with professional models, so professionals were not her option for her new collection. According to Mandeep, she likes to do the photo shoot with women who don’t expect to be a model and the one who feels comfortable and strongly empowered in front of a camera wearing clothes that they like.
When Kamala heard about the idea and the offer, it was bounced off for her thoughts and she took a time to decide for one day, she was hesitant at first before agreeing to do it. Later she agreed reluctantly but the result of this was really made people wonder about her today.

While talking about Kamla and her transformation Mandeep said “I don’t know if this shoot will change her life. I know that she cherishes the experience.”
Mandeep put the idea to her and watched as Kamala went through an entire range of emotions and reactions; from being taken aback by taking the first gingerly step into a world she knew nothing about.
People from all around the world have got a new face now to comment on and it’s already happening on the social networking sites. While on one side this new talent and a person who has got her into this new world are getting applause from people saying, “Superb Mandeep this is amazing. Kamla is indeed beautiful and kudos to u to be able to see her beauty.” Whereas on another hand some have also commented on her saying “she looked better without the makeup on. Anyway, she is beautiful so … how can putting clothes on her make her transform and into what?” Now the time will decide where this new face will make her place.
The way Kamala presented her in the designer clothes and modelling with full simplicity and confidence, it won’t be wrong to say that Goa has created every woman beautiful and has given her own inner beauty which comes out only when a talent like Mandeep Nagi spots the other talent like Kamla. No doubt this has encouraged Kamla with some new hopes and will enlighten her life to take a new direction as now she knows her potential well which sums her up and her style.
