40-year old Woman Raped and Thrown out of car at Miramar

This one of the most disgraceful event that reported in the city wherein two youth from Sanvordem and Curchorem Goa sexually abused a 40-year-old lady in their car, and later thrown her out of the car at Miramar. The lady suffered severe injuries besides being sexually assaulted by the duo. 

In another gruesome rape case, a 40-year old woman was raped by two youth in a car in a remote area and then forcibly thrown out of the car near Miramar resulting in a fractured leg. The victim has been admitted to GMC.

Another atrocity against a 40-year old woman has been reported in the capital city.

According to reports in The Goan, Wednesday night ended unexpectedly on a  bitter note for a 40-year old woman who went out with two youth (all Goans), apparently a friend, out for a drive.   


It ended with the two youth being arrested and she is admitted to the Goa Medical College & Hospital (GMC) at Bmbolim with severe injuries.

The police have recorded the statement of the lady in the hospital on Thursday and subsequently arrested the accused on charges of rape and assault after their date with the woman ended in an unpleasant manner with the duo physically roughing her up and throwing her out of their car, resulting in injuries.

According to the sources at Panaji Police Station, Police Inspector (PI) Sudesh Naik said, Gautam Raikar (25) a resident of Sanvordem and Sarvesh Kauthankar (26) a resident of Curchorem have been arrested and booked under section 376 (group rape) r/w 34, 504 (insult), 323 (causing hurt), 325 (causing grievous hurt), 354 (assault with intent to outrage modesty) of the Indian Penal code. 

As per the complaint filed by the victim, the accused raped her in the car taking her to a remote location outside Panaji. They then allegedly sought to forcibly throw her out of their car at a spot near Miramar and in the resulting scuffle between her and the two youth she suffered injuries including a fractured leg. The victim is now undergoing treatment at GMC.
