According to the information given by the Additional Deputy Commissioner of police Vijay Kumar to IANS, the PCR (Police Control Room) received the call from a young woman in the early morning of Sunday around 3.30am stating that she was raped in the moving car.
When the police team reached the spot the victim women narrated the story to them stating that, few men took her from Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station area in their car and dropped her near Indraprastha Park area in the south Delhi after allegedly raping her. “She said that she was raped in the moving car,” Said the police official.
According to the information, the Delhi police have registered the case against the unknown persons under the sections 365 (Kidnapping) and 376 (rape) of the IPC (Indian Penal Code). The police will do their job and depending on the investigation, if the people involved in the rape are not influential then they might get the punishment but looking at the prevailing trend the chances seem to be weak.
