20-year-old Abhinav Agarwal from Delhi Drown at Sinquerim Goa

Despite the warnings from the lifeguard, a group tourist from Delhi ventured into the sea at Sinquerim resulting into the drowning of a 20-year-old youth Abhinav Agarwal resident of Delhi. The lifeguard managed to save two of the three trapped into the water while seven managed to come onshore on their own.

According to the reports published by the Time of India, A 20-year-old tourist from Delhi, identified as Anubhav Manmohan Agarwal, drowned at Sinquerim beach on Wednesday afternoon.

The report further stated that Anubhav was part of a group of 10 tourists from Delhi, who, around 1 pm ventured into the sea at Candolim beach despite warnings from the lifeguards.

Just to avoid the warnings from lifeguard the group went down towards the Sinquerim where they again ventured into the sea, but due to the heavy waves, the group was knocked down into the water.

By the time lifeguard reach to them, three were dragged the deep water around 25m into the sea. 

While seven of them managed to make it to the shore, three of them were dragged 25m into the sea, who was brought back by the lifeguards. While lifeguards using CPR managed to revive one of two in an unconscious state, the other, Anubhav, did not respond to the CPR.

He was rushed to the Candolim primary health center where he was declared brought dead. Calangute police have registered a case of unnatural death.
