Another embarrassing news of rape case grasped India’s financial capital Mumbai. The place known for being safest for women in India is now getting deprecated by the growing amount of rape cases. This incident was pre-planned by the boyfriend along with his three friends, claimed the sources.
According to the sources, the main accused along with his friends conspired the cruel sexual act and to fulfill their wish he took the girl with him for a long drive before sedating her and raping along with his three friends in a lodge in Vasai.
Police managed to arrest two accused that includes the boyfriend and one of his friend who was involved in this vindictive act. Based on the details provided by the Vasai police the boy fascinated the girl in his love trap by getting befriend with her. According to the police, the girl used to go to the dance classes in Vasai (east) where she met the accused and become his friend soon after a brief chat with him. Soon they developed a fondness for each other.
On the day of the incident, the girl was waiting for the bus when the 22-year-old accused came in his car and offered her a lift insisting on going for an outing. At that time the remaining three boys were also present in the car.
They drove to Vajreshwari in Bhiwandi taluka and booked into a lodge. The girl was offered beer by her boyfriend. She consumed the drink and felt dizzy. When she woke up hours later, the four men had vanished. She was in pain and realized that she had been sexually abused. She managed to get home and narrated the incident to her parents who on Monday filed a police complaint. In the complaint, the girl stated that he was forced into the car at 6.30 pm.
The police arrested two suspects while the other two are absconding. They have been booked under IPC 363 for kidnapping, 376(d) for gangrape and under sections of POCSO. The girl has been sent for medical examination. The police are trying to ascertain if the men shot videos of the act. They are also questioning the lodge owner on why he let out a room to four guys and a minor girl.
When any crime takes place it is never accomplished single-handedly there are internal and external forces responsible for it. In this case, the lodge owner could have easily avoided letting out the room in his lodge to four boys with a minor girl. he could have also informed the same to the police, this incident could have been easily avoided. But for the sake of making few more bucks, he did not think of doing the same. In this case, he is as much culprit as all the four accused are. What is your opinion on this?
