Another incident of alleged rape has come into the light in Mapusa Goa. According to the sources, Mapusa police have booked the case of raping the minor girl against an unidentified person who said to have kidnapping the minor and later raped her. The incident came to light when the father of a minor victim took her to the private clinic after she started vomiting, said the sources.
The sources have revealed that victim’s family suspects an involvement of a laborer, hailing from Uttar Pradesh, is the culprit. Mapusa police said that the father of the 16-year-old survivor stated in his complaint that the unidentified laborer had kidnapped his minor daughter and subsequently raped her.
The complainant also told the police that, after he took his daughter for a medical checkup on 24th February, the doctor did her ultrasound and found out that the minor girl is two and half months pregnant. The private doctors immediately advised the father of a survivor to take her to the district hospital.
The complainant told the police that, some migrant laborers were residing near his residence and that he suspects the involvement of one of the laborers into the rape of his minor daughter. Acting on the complaint, Mapusa police registered a case against the unidentified person under Sections 376 and 363 of IPC, Section 8 of Goa Children Act and Sections 4, 8 and 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
The investigations are in progress but police did not reveal any more details in this case. Meanwhile, There are many questions remains unanswered here, such as……

The victim girl is 16 years old and is capable of identifying the culprit, despite that why the name of accused in not revealed and the case registered against the unidentified person who is one of the laborers residing in the similar location.
