According to the sources, a 15-year-old girl from Delhi has been raped by her own boyfriend along with 6 others in the hotel room at Paharganj area in New Delhi. According to the victim girl, the boyfriend had spiked her drink before raping her in the hotel room along with his six friends. This most disgraceful incident came into the light when the minor victim girl lodged the complaint with Delhi police following the incident.
The girl told the police that, she was in a relationship with the accused boy for more than one and half year and on the day of the incident the accused had called her on the pretext of taking her to the movie but instead he took her into the hotel room where the remaining accused were already present. According to the girl, the incident took place on a Friday night and police managed to arrest three accused on Saturday, claims the report.
The police sources have informed that the alleged rape of the 15-year-old girl took place in the hotel room in Paharganj area on Friday night. The main accused identified as Rehan who raped her first is her boyfriend for more than one year. According to the Delhi police, in her first statement, the girl told the police that her boyfriend had alone assaulted her but later on two more accused forced them on her. But later on a Saturday evening, the girl revised her statement claiming that there were seven people in the room at the time when the incident took place and all of them had raped her.
The cops have managed to arrest only three accused and is in search of remaining four others who are absconding at the present. The teenager told police that Rehan called her at her Old Delhi home at 4 pm on Friday and said he would take her to see a movie. Instead, he took her to a hotel, where he had already called his friends. She alleged that they spiked her drink with alcohol and then took turns raping her.
Meanwhile, the parents of the girl have told the police that, they have tried to convince the girl on several occasions to give up the friendship of the accused Rehan who had a very bad reputation in the locality. The mother confirmed she was with her daughter when the girl received a call from Rehan on Friday and left soon after.
Delhi police have confirmed that the main accused is a history sheeter with several petty crimes registered against him in the various police station that includes the robbery and chain snatching. According to the police, The rape survivor appeared to be unaware of his illegal activities.
After taking cognisance of the girl’s version of what had transpired, the cops registered a case under IPC Section 376(A) (punishment for rape) and arrested Rehan. They said they had detained two others who were in the room where the incident took place.
