While cloud of tragedy lingers on the ill fated family who met with an accident involving the Mercedes Benz car of Actress turned politician Hema Malini she is preparing for the plastic surgery in the Fortis hospital in Jaipur to make sure that she does not have any scars left on her beautiful face. The sources have informed that she (Hema) have expressed the “deep sorrow” over the death of a child in a road accident which caused by her car saying she was “very sad and in a distressed mind” after hearing the news but the kin of the child have claimed that she (Hama) never bothered to enquire about them and rushed herself to the hospital.
In a statement released to press next day evening, Hema Malini, who was injured I this accident said “I can realize the hard time the family is facing after her (child) death. I pray to god to give them strength to bear this loss.” While on the other hand the relatives of the child protested saying that she (Hema) never checked up on the condition of our family. “We know she (Hema Malini) was also hurt but at least she could have enquired about the well being of the family… (She could have) asked the doctors to give (the family) proper treatment,” said the relative. Father also could not hold his emotions said “Agar woh doctor meri gudia ko bhi Hema malini ke saath hospital le jate, to shayad woh zinda hoti (had the doctor, who took injured Hema Malini to hospital, taken my daughter along with him, she would have been alive today)”
Now as the time is passing the news is spreading like fire in the media and people have also started protesting against the actress, the Doctors have been given the instructions by the BJP ministers to provide the best treatment to the surviving victims family, Imagine they had this conscious when the 2 year old was fighting for her life, she could have survived. Why that is all these people get scared of the media and start doing their job properly? Why they don’t listen to their conscious before the intervention of the media?
There is a huge rage in the social media against the actress over her irresponsible behavior, facebook & twitter is full with the comments and tweets against the actress. Meanwhile the doctors attending the actress have said that she is just fine and while she was also treated for the minor fracture on her nose. She thanked her well-wishers saying she is “overwhelmed by their greetings and their concern over my health”.
Here the victims are undergoing the treatment in the local city hospital at the same time mother of the child enquiring about her kid asking “Chinni kahan hai?”, not knowing her daughter is dead. The mother’s uncle, who did not wish to be identified by name, said: “We have told the father, Hanuman Khandelwal, of the death of the child in the accident. He was shocked and has been crying since yesterday night. We try to console him but fail to do so. “But we have not told the mother as she is still in a bad condition after the accident,” the relative said. “We only tell her that she is fine and with us. We do not have the guts to tell her about the death as we are afraid how she will react. Chinni was the most lovable daughter in the family,” the relative said. He said Hema Malini’s car was speeding, and this caused the accident.
One can only try to imagine the agony of the victim’s family which can be never compensated with any type of help now. The case will go in the court and the accused will get away easily. The family of the victim may not even be in position to fight this case against the bigwigs involved into this accident. Media will support only till the news is hot. What is needed to change is the mindset of the people. Driving in rash and negligent manner causing the death should be punished severely by law. People need to follow the rules of traffic which is applicable for both the parties but the big cars with huge power must have very high responsibility.
